IBWC Members Enchanted by Heifetz Holiday Performance at Twin Oaks Tavern Winery
A magical afternoon unfolded at Twin Oaks Tavern Winery in Bluemont, Virginia, where members of IBWC gathered to experience the Heifetz Holiday Tour Concert against the backdrop of the majestic Shenandoah Valley. As soft snowflakes drifted outside the windows, IBWC members Brigitta, Natasha, Sabine, Marta and Angie, accompanied by their significant others, were treated to an unforgettable blend of music, wine, and seasonal ambiance.
The winery’s intimate Tasting Room provided the perfect setting, with its warm acoustics enhancing every note performed by the talented Heifetz International Music Institute alumni Angela Sin Ying Chan on violin, Andres Sanchez on cello, Ying Li on piano and Marina Alba López on violin. These gifted young musicians delivered a diverse program that included beloved seasonal favorites, virtuosic solo performances, and chamber music masterworks, creating a inclusive celebration that resonated with listeners of all faiths.
While savoring Twin Oaks’ award-winning wines, guests were captivated by both the panoramic valley views and the remarkable musicianship on display.
