The Immigrant Businesswomen Circle (IBWC) is proud to share that our Founder and CEO, Beatriz McNelly, has been featured by the Loudoun Chamber of Commerce for Hispanic Heritage Month. This recognition highlights her remarkable journey and contributions to our community.
Beatriz McNelly’s story embodies the American Dream. Immigrating from Argentina at age 11, she overcame language barriers and worked her way up from housekeeping to co-founding a successful fiber optics company. Her experiences inspired her to create IBWC, providing immigrant women entrepreneurs with the support network she once lacked. Now serving as Executive Director of Loudoun Literacy Council, Beatriz continues to give back through various community leadership roles.
For Beatriz, Hispanic Heritage Month celebrates the blending of cultures that shape her identity. Her journey from immigrant to entrepreneur to community leader serves as an inspiration, showcasing the impact of perseverance, hard work, and giving back.
Thank you, Beatriz!
